VITALIA® Seniors go back to college at Baldwin Wallace University

VITALIA®North Olmsted residents often identify as life-long learners, so we have teamed up with Baldwin Wallace University (BW) to offer programming in support of our residents’ intellectual endeavors.

This past week, VITALIA®North Olmsted residents visited BW, where they went on golf cart tours, learned about class offerings and special events, and even had a cookout with DW’s mascot, ‘Stinger’. Check out BW’s highlights from the event! 

As part of BW’s Division of Community Learning (DCL), they offer classes and events in subjects like astronomy, plant identification, and bird watching. Our residents are excited to take part in this program so they can continue to learn about topics that interest them.  

Our trip to BW was a great opportunity to connect with the community and ensure that our residents have access to resources that help them live a fulfilled and lively life. Arrow employee Nicole Rozsa says,

Our VITALIA® residents are filled with excitement knowing that they can go back to school to continue to learn about their passions and learn about new subjects as well. Actively learning new things can often help seniors stay engaged and healthy while pursuing topics that interest them. Whether our residents decide to pick up an old passion or learn a totally new one, we look forward to our partnership with Baldwin Wallace University.
